BC-348N RECEIVER (working)

This is a BC-348 receiver from World War 2. It has 8 metal valves in it. It has 2 headphones jack for output and is quite loud. It has an AVC and MVC switch which allows easy tuning of SSB signals. It has a CW on and off switch. It has a beat note control for tuning morse or SSB. The crystal filter switch appears to work. The dial light dimming control works. The tuning is smooth. It works on all bands and appears to be sensitive. It was reconditioned in 1954. It has a few modifications. It has a few modern components fitted. It has had the dynamotor removed and a 240 volt AC power supply installed in place of it. It has a little rust on the chassis and on the valves. Underneath is clean. The band change switch is a bit scratchy. It could do with an alignment. It works quite well. $350
